for developing a county-wide emergency preparedness plan to coordinate all
resources in Massac County for any foreseeable emergency or disaster-such as
storms, air crashes, hazardous materials incidents, police emergencies, etc.
Emergency Services & Disaster Agency (ESDA) provides coordination and acts as
a liaison between local government, state and federal agencies during disasters &
emergencies.
ESDA also coordinates response to Hazardous Materials incidents and serves as
the staff agency for the Local Emergency Planning Committee (LEPC) and the
Disaster Planning Committee (DPC).
